AI job matching — common questions
How JobClaw scores every role 0–100 against your resume.
How is JobClaw's AI matching different from LinkedIn or Indeed relevance sort?
Those products sort by keyword overlap. JobClaw scores five criteria (skills, seniority, location, industry, compensation), weights them from your preferences, and returns a 0–100 score with an explanation.
How accurate is AI job matching?
Strongest on skills and seniority. Weaker on culture fit or unstated preferences. Treat 80+ as a strong signal, below 50 as a filter, and 60–75 as worth a human read.
Can I adjust the scoring threshold?
Yes. Default is 70. Lower for more volume, raise for tighter matches, or set different floors per role type.
Does AI matching work for non-tech roles?
Yes. It reads resume and job description as text. It performs best when both use concrete language.
What happens to jobs below my threshold?
They stay stored but out of the default feed. Browse All jobs or lower the threshold anytime — nothing is discarded.
Automatic submission, end to end
JobClaw watches 12,000+ company career pages across Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, plus 17 job boards, and submits a tailored resume the moment a role clears your match threshold. You set the daily cap — it never goes past it.
