Do I need Telegram to use job alerts?
Currently yes — JobClaw's real-time alerts are delivered via Telegram because it supports instant push delivery with zero delay. Setting up Telegram takes under a minute: install the app, message the JobClaw bot, and alerts start flowing. Email digests and Slack integration are on the roadmap.
How much faster are JobClaw alerts than LinkedIn job notifications?
LinkedIn sends job notification emails in batches — typically once or twice per day. JobClaw monitors job boards every 2 hours and sends a Telegram message within minutes of a matching role appearing. For high-competition roles where the first 10 applicants get preference, that timing difference is the difference between being early and being one of 500.
What score threshold triggers an alert?
By default, alerts fire for jobs scoring 80 or above against your profile. You can lower this (to see more, with less strict matching) or raise it (for a highly selective feed). You can also set different thresholds per role type — a lower threshold for exploratory roles and a higher one for your primary target.
Can I approve applications directly from the alert?
Yes. Each alert message includes a link to review the job's AI score, the generated cover letter, and the tailored resume section. You can approve or reject the application from within the Telegram conversation — no need to open a browser.
